New Covid rules valid since 22.11.2021

Based on the decision of the competent authorities of the Czech Republic, from 22.11.2021 it is possible to provide short-term and recreational accommodation services only:
 
  • persons who do not show clinical symptoms of COVID-19, except for children under 12 years of age, and meet the conditions according to point I/17 of the Emergency Measure, which I prove by submitting:
    • confirmation that I have undergone RT-PCR testing for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus with negative results no more than 72 hours prior to the time of admission. The RT-PCR test will be recognized for guests who are on business, traveling for medical or health purposes, with necessary concern for another person, or with an RT-PCR test I am submitting:
      • a physician’s note containing explicit information that I am medically unable to receive the Covid-19 vaccination and that this fact is listed in the Infectious Disease Information System (IDIS) or an ISIN record containing explicit information that I am medically unable to receive the COVID-19 vaccination, or
      • evidence that I have been vaccinated against COVID-19 disease with a designated and, according to the Emergency Measures, domestically recognized drug and at least 14 days have elapsed since completion of the vaccination schedule; or
      • that I am a person being accommodated for work, business or similar reasons that cannot be postponed, or
      • that I am a person who is accommodated for reasons of an essential need to care for another person, or
      • that I am a person who is accommodated for the purpose of being provided with health services, or
    • confirmation that I am a person who has been vaccinated against COVID-19 with a designated and, under the Emergency Measures, domestically recognized vaccine and at least 14 days have elapsed since completion of the vaccination schedule, or
    • confirmation that I have laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 disease, the period of ordered isolation under the applicable Emergency Measures has expired, and no more than 180 days have elapsed since the first positive rapid antigen test (RAT) for SARS-CoV-2 antigen or RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
  • the person under 18 years of age for whom I am making this declaration as his/her legal representative does not have clinical symptoms of COVID-19 and meets the conditions of the Emergency Measures, as evidenced by my submission of confirmation that he/she has undergone RT-PCR testing for SARS-CoV-2 virus with a negative result no more than 72 hours prior to the time of admission.
 
The hotel operator is directed to check the person’s compliance with the above conditions prior to the commencement of accommodation and the person is directed to demonstrate compliance. In the event that the person fails to demonstrate compliance with the above conditions, the operator shall not provide accommodation to such person. Persons who prove compliance with the above conditions may be accommodated for a maximum of 7 days and must prove compliance with the above conditions again to extend their stay.
 
Alternatively, accommodation may be provided subject to the above:
  • persons who have been ordered to be isolated or quarantined
  • persons in housing need who have been provided with accommodation by a local authority
 
Guests who started their stay before 22.11.2021 are obliged to prove themselves once every 7 days with a certificate of being free of infection, vaccination, overcoming the disease or present the result of a negative PCR test.
