Volcano local honey
The roof of Volcano Complex has become a home for thousands of busy bees, helping to create a healthier ecosystem. We decided to support nature and contribute to preserving biodiversity, which is why we partnered with Hronec Honey Herbs to place three beehives on the roof. The result is the premium Volcano Local Honey, produced right here at the top of our complex.
Our honey has won the prestigious Platinum Spoon award in the delicate honey category, confirming its unique taste and quality.
Did you know that up to 75% of the world’s crops depend on pollination by insects like bees? Without them, food production would be severely threatened. Our support for the bee colonies is not only a tribute to nature but also a step towards protecting biodiversity for future generations.
Although the bees fly at a height of around 40 meters above the ground, you might not even notice their presence on the roof of the Volcano Complex – until you taste the fresh and delicious honey they help create!
Solar Energy
At a time when environmental protection is increasingly important, we decided to take a major step towards sustainability. We are pleased to announce that we have installed 156 solar panels on the roof of our hotel . 3 kWp, thus switching to clean solar energy.
This project allows us to significantly reduce our carbon footprint while increasing the energy efficiency of the hotel. Solar energy is a renewable resource that helps preserve nature and contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. With sufficient capacity, our solar panels can cover a large part of our energy consumption, enabling us to operate the hotel with minimal environmental impact.
By taking this step, we are actively contributing to the protection of the planet, and we hope that our initiative will inspire others to adopt a responsible approach to using natural resources.
